
Intercept Group Pty Ltd is an approved provider for Smart & Skilled funding for approved qualifications.
NSW Smart & Skilled provides training subsidised by the NSW Government.
Currently, Intercept Group offers the following qualifications as part of this initiative:
• CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support
• ACM30821 Certificate III in Horse Care
Smart and Skilled Eligibility:
You may be eligible if you meet the following requirements:
• Aged 15 years or over (Some Courses may have age restrictions - see course page)
• No longer in school (or a registered home school student)
• Live or work in NSW?
• An Australia Citizen, Permanent resident, NZ citizen, a humanitarian visa or partner visa holder?
Additional Exemptions and scholarships include:
• Out-of-Home Care:
Young people who are or have been in out-of-home care are eligible for scholarships.
• Domestic and Family Violence:
Individuals experiencing or who have experienced domestic and family violence, and their dependents, may qualify for scholarships.
• Eligible for Concession Fee:
Young people eligible for a concession fee may be eligible for a scholarship.
Fee Exemptions:
• Disadvantaged Students:
Students with disabilities, and their dependants of Disability Support Pension recipients are exempt from fees.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students:
Fee exemptions are available for these students.
• Asylum Seekers:
Asylum seekers (and eligible partners) are eligible for fee exemptions for training up to Certificate IV.
• Dependants of Benefit Recipients:
Dependants of certain Commonwealth Government benefit recipients may also qualify for fee exemptions.
At times, Intercept Training are granted funding for other approved courses or part qualifications in various industries. Please contact us for further details.
Application and Enrolment Process
1. Apply for Smart & Skilled funding
completing the ‘Smart & Skilled Application Form’
submit the form along with all necessary supporting documentation. Your USI (Unique Student Identifier) must also be provided.

2. Your application is reviewed and the outcome is advised
The funding team will review your application. If all necessary evidence has been provided, you will be advised of the outcome, and a ‘quote’ will be produced with details of the fees or subsidies available to you.
If we have not received all necessary evidence our team will contact you to advise. Evidence must be sighted directly by our team or an approved witness.
3. Review and accept the quote
If you are happy with the outcome and would like to proceed, you can accept the quote.
You will be sent an email with the quote ID, outcome and declarations. The declaration will confirm the following:
You have provided information that is true, accurate, complete and not misleading in any way.
An enrolment in the same qualification and/or same units of competency is not being concurrently completed.
You have been advised of the process/policy for Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Credit Transfer for any units relevant to the qualification that have been completed prior to this enrolment.
You have been made aware of any Third-Party arrangements (if applicable)
You have been provided with details of the fee chargeable (if applicable) and have access to Student Information (Student Handbook).
Accept the digital declaration.
4. Enrolment
You will be contacted by the team to complete your Enrolment Form to finalise your enrolment.
